Bruce Gilbert OBE

Chair

Bruce Gilbert was appointed Chair of the Moseley and District Board in 2011. Previously, Bruce held the position of Chief Superintendent of Walsall Police, having been a senior manager in the police service for most of his career. He involves himself within his community and has worked with a number of organisations in the West Midlands which in 2004, saw Bruce presented with an OBE for his services to regeneration. With a BA in Business Studies, Bruce’s experience and training gives him a strategic understanding of issues such as finance, corporate planning, risk management, personnel and resource management. Bruce is also the Chair of Caldmore Area Housing Association’s Board which he joined in March 2006.
